At one point during TCOS development we created the Discipline Masters, a set of the Enclave’s greatest heroes and prime examples of what to expect from the Disciplines, our class system. While they were put in the game, they never got the attention I wanted them to have, nor were all assets used. I envisioned them as a band of contemporary heroes the players could fight alongside to in specific scenes.
Marlon Kromodikoro, Dennis Zoetebier and yours truly created a bio for each of the Discipline Masters and this series is meant to showcase each of them. The game itself only contained minor bits and pieces.
Master Wrathguard
Name: Merald Heragon
Race: Daevi
Gender: Female
Age (998 AC): 24 (974 AC)
Previous Faction: Torque
History
Throughout the years House Torque became synonymous with politics. But the High House would like to view itself as being ‘heroic’. Growing up next to House Torque in a Torque family meant that Merald Heragon was very well aware of this. And if that wasn’t enough, both her father and mother pushed the little girl into becoming a new Torque hero. She started training at the age of 5 and at the age of 10 she was capable of out-classing the Torque guards near Torque High House, leading her to become quite famous in town.

Master Void Seer
Name: Isarah Nenuse
Race: Daevi
Gender: Female
Age (998 AC): 48 (950 AC)
Previous Faction: Veridan
History
Isarah Nenuse grew up in the Palace of Quarterstone. Her ‘father’ Enclave Delegate Zildis Nenuse is curiously enough a human, yet Isarah is daevi. As a child this caused her to be ridiculed by the other children and Isarah became a quite nervous and solitary child. Searching for a role model to look up to, the Veridan proved to be a bit too close at hand. Ten years after the end of Tykaru’s Tyranny had turned the Veridan from rogue fanatics into a trusted society of the Oracle’s keepers.

Endlon Prisoner is one of the original Prisoners amongst the Ousted, who grew up on the scaffolds and bridges of The Lessers. He believes sincerely that the Enclave is a disaster waiting to happen. Master Skinshifter
Name: “Shift”
Race: Unknown
Gender: Unknown
Age (998 AC): Unknown
Previous Faction: Unknown
History
People don’t know where “Shift” comes from, or who or what it is. The problem with that is that Shift doesn’t know itself. Shift is probably the most accomplished Skinshifter within the Red Rim, save for the fact that it doesn’t know what its original form is. This turned into a major problem for Shift when its own personality got so mixed up that it caused a severe form of schizophrenia within Shift.

Master Runemage
Name: Gerreth Bournbray
Race: Male
Gender: Human
Age (998 AC): 48 (950 AC)
Previous Faction: House Silver
History
Gerreth Bournbray always was materialistic. Being part of a wealthy family with influence in the Scales of Trade also helped this trait and it was only natural for Gerreth to join House Silver in 968 AC at the age of 18. Yet Gerreth felt something missing. He not only wanted to own things, he wanted to control them as well. Within two years Gerreth found himself studying the books of House Rune. Utterly intrigued by the application of contemporary magic, Gerreth became an artisan runemage with a very keen interest in DEW. To Gerreth being able to use magic was a doorway into creating whatever he wanted; to control pure matter at every level.

Master Deathhand
Name: Nhiana Flammeon
Race: Daevi
Gender: Female
Age (998 AC): 35 (963 AC)

Nhiana Flammeon should not be alive. Being the daughter to one of Shroud’s great Deathhands meant that as a child Nhiana ingested and inhaled more poisonous substances than most have to suffer through in their entire lifetime. At the age of 5 she already had experienced hallucinogenic substances, been in a coma thrice and contracted various rashes all over her body.
