Either consumers are flocking online en-masse or retailers have vastly underestimated Phantasy Star Online's popularity. Already It's nigh impossible to get your hands on a NGC Broadband adaptor and the game itself is nowhere to be found. Yet that last part can be due to distribution problems. According to some retailers they should get the adaptors and the games somewhere this week. As it is, I'm still struggling to get both inside my home. I know the 'negative side-effects' of being a PSO addict, but I can't help it. It's a 'Call to Gaming', or something like that...
Strangely enough I'm not even considering the 'superior' Xbox version. It's PSO GameCube all the way. Sure it has something to do with already knowing some friends how are playing the GameCube version, but reports of a cheat/hack are also worrying. Sure the amount of users being able to do that is relatively small and the 'Cube version will have it's own share of problems, but still it annoys if something like that is known from the start. I'll just keep Xbox Live for other online games and my GameCube for Phantasy Star Online. If I can get it that is...
